JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT REVIVAL CHURCH, AS WE START OUR NEW SERMON SERIES, "RESET OF THE HEART". Why is it that we often see people make commitments to change only to see them eventually go back to what they were before. Often it is not that these people are lying or deceiving, it is that the TRANSFORMATION WAS A BEHAVIORAL ONE AND NOT A BELIEF ONE, the heart was never truly changed. Behavioral changes are often temporary and under life's pressures we all revert back to what we know. However, true belief changes are lasting and eventually by God's grace those changes become our norms. This walk with God will lead to one day doing what feels good and doing what is right, to be one. As beautiful as this sounds, it only happens when a heart is truly changed for the Lord. I know at times one can read this and think "yeah but you don't know my...." he is evil, she is awful, my family is the worst, my husband or my wife and on and on", indeed we can trust how we feel about that person or even ourselves or we can trust what God's Word says in EZEKIEL 36:26 I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. God can reset one's heart and that person will never be the same again. Come by faith and come believing this Sunday that God will move in a mighty way, and please be in prayer that the Holy Spirit would impact and reset all our hearts though this sermon series.
