NEW SUNDAY SERMON SERIES: FINDING MY PEACE

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT REVIVAL CHURCH, AS WE START OURNEW SERMON SERIES, "FINDING MY PEACE".  Data shows that stress and anxiety are at an all time high.  This seems crazy, as we have never had more entertainment, been more connected to people and had more psychotropic medications than we do now.  So why is it that almost no one around is living with constant peace in their lives.  This is because the Bible teaches us that the only truly lasting peace comes from God, as stated in John 14:27 "I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart, and the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid." So, God offers us that peace and tells us how to live in it no matter the circumstances. It is a peace that indeed surpasses understanding as it only comes from God.  The only question is do we want to live in that peace or continue to struggle by ourselves believing that this world can offer it instead.  These next few weeks we will dig into the Bible and see what God has to say on the subject and God willing by His grace apply it in order to live a life of peace and contentment no matter what we are dealing with.
