JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT REVIVAL CHURCH, AS WE START OURNEW SERMON SERIES, "MY TWO MASTERS". The Bible teaches us in Matthew 6:24 that no one can serve two masters. God expects us to choose to commit to Him and His teachings. So often as Christians we agree with this and yield our lives to Him. However, if we are honest, the truth is often we yield a majority of our lives to Him, but not all. Not that area, we often think; it is as if we have conceded defeat in that area. "It's only 5% of my life that I have not yielded to God, it's not that bad". Not understanding that all satan needs is that 5% to destroy the 100% that is you. There are wonderful people serving life sentences in prison because they would not yield the 5% on anger to God. Others that have destroyed their families and homes because they would not yield the 5% of lust or selfishness to God. Others have died young and missed out on God's plan because they would not yield their 5% eating habits or their smoking, drinking or drug usage to God. Others that God could have used in powerful way but that 5% of bitterness still is anchored in their hearts and on and on and on. YIELDING 95% TO GOD IS YIELDING 5% TO SATAN AND ATTEMPTING TO SERVE TWO MASTERS. This is a very challenging series as we look in the Bible at people that were victorious and yielded it all to God and those who lost everything because they believed they can serve two masters. If it has been years and you are comfortable and have no desire to get that last 5% in check, you will not get much out of this series, but if you are ready to go back and fight in order to have only ONE MASTER, then get prayed up for this one. Come by faith, believing that God will move in a powerful way and that chains will be broken. Please be in prayer that the Holy Spirit would impact all of us though this sermon series.
